DO88 Performance Intercooler

To fit: 

• Volvo S60/V60 - Model years: 2019 onwards - Engine: T4, T5, T6, T8, D3, D4, D5
• Volvo S90/V90/V90 Cross Country - Model years: 2017 onwards - Engine: T4, T5, T6, T8, D3, D4, D5
• Volvo XC60 - Model years: 2018 onwards - Engine: T4, T5, T6, T8, D3, D4, D5
• Volvo XC90 - Model years: 2016 onwards - Engine: T4, T5, T6, T8, D4, D5
   
• Important Note: Not suitable for any of the above models with water cooled charge air cooler integrated in intake manifold.

This is an in-house designed performance intercooler from DO88 for an easy drop-in-fitment in your Volvo S60/V60/XC60 or S90/V90/XC90/V90 CC.

Distinct advantages of the DO88 performance intercooler against the (OEM intercooler):
- Greater core volume: 13766 cm3 (8476 cm3) = 62 % bigger!
- Air flow at 0,175bar/2,54psi pressure drop: 423 CFM (309 CFM) = 37 % higher!

This intercooler is constructed to deliver the best possible cooling efficiency even in tough conditions. Exclusively manufactured in aluminum with continuous welds, it guarantees reliability and endurance when you really need it. The increased core volume improves cooling efficiency and lowers the intake air temperature. Naturally being a DO88 performance product, we have executed thorough, stringent and continuous tests whilst developing this product to ensure the best possible performance; no compromise has been made!. This intercooler is optimised to the given space for an easy drop-in-fitment.

The 62 % increase in core volume is an achievement we are very proud of. It makes a remarkable difference - Perceivable, to say the least. The engine pulls better all through the rev range and also withstands repeated full throttle runs without building heat. The perception of an intercooler being something to upgrade only after a major engine tune is incorrect, yet widely spread among customers and car people. 

During hot Swedish summer days, over repeated pulls, during inspired driving, or even at normal driving in a hotter climate area, it doesn´t take much of an effort from the engine to generate dangerously high inlet temperatures – even on a standard, non-tuned, car. The cooling capacity with an OEM-intercooler is in many cases inferior which will affect the usable power output. The heat has to be eliminated, or else the promised output will be decreased as you start giving gas. With our intercooler you can rest assured the power is there, at all times.

This product comes with everything necessary for an easy installation, without the need for cutting or in any way changing the car´s original shape. Bolts, nuts, brackets and mounting instructions are of course included.

NOTE: When ordering this product you will need to select the type of pressure pipes you have fitted, if the have the DO88 pressure pipes, then please select this option, or if you just have the OEM (original equipment) pipes fitted then you will need to select this option.
